A beautiful focal point for the community

The 1 hectare Central Park is designed to cater for all ages, with interesting elements dotted throughout.

It will offer a visually exciting focal point, thanks to a mixture of low maintenance and drought tolerant native and exotic species that flower at different times of the year.

A selection of deciduous trees with seasonal colour along Central Park Boulevard will provide a visual link from the entry road into the park itself.

Vistas of the park will be available from a community shelter for all to enjoy. Its location next to the playground makes it easy to keep a watchful eye on youngsters.

Mums and dads can overlook circular 'mini-sports' field whose boundaries are defined by ornamental garden beds. Large-scale evergreen native trees will provide shade and protection, particularly in hotter months.

In various sections of the park, a number of family spaces, ideal for small gatherings, will be created using localised mounding, shelters and landscaping.
